I am a Hugo award-winning fantasy/SF artist who works on both publishing projects and film concept work(such as Jimmy Neutron and most recently, The Ant Bully) but I have a passion for landscape work, small paintings and exploring the properties of paint. This blog will mostly showcase my "painting-for-the-day" as kind of a personal voyage. I'll also be inserting sketches,photos and ideas of projects I am working on, that I can, when I can, so look for those every so often(usually as paint is drying!)

IF DINOSAURS LIVED IN MY TOWN

On Nov 6th, my wife and me with have a new book out, IF DINOSAURS LIVED IN MY TOWN...kind of a fun romp and, the book was originally conceived as long as 6 years ago at a packager in Massachusetts. Because of the economy and certain inside situations with the original publisher it was dropped and the packager shopped it elsewhere....and it found a home with Sky Pony Books, a hot new(ish) children's publisher part of Sky Horse Publishing....the book is available on Amazon and via Barnes and Noble...

Anyway, it is part traditional and part digital(with the help of Cortney Skinner)....and it got a raving review by Publishers Weekly(Bottom)...so here you go, enjoy!
